Niamh

Niamh

Co-Founder and Clinical Director, and Highly Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist

Niamh is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology (ACPIN), and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She is part of Cohort 10 of the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme.

Working in clinical care, Niamh saw the same gap again and again: strength and balance training genuinely works, but services struggle to help people keep it up over the long term. With fewer than 15% of adults over 65 meeting recommended strength guidelines, most people lose the benefits the moment structured support ends.

She built Wobble to change that. Her belief is simple: staying strong and steady should be a preventative habit, not something people address only after a fall or a diagnosis, and people should keep genuinely challenging their balance to feel the benefit. That is why Wobble is built with multiple levels and progressions, so it meets people where they are and keeps challenging them as they improve, rather than a one-size-fits-all routine.

Built for both sides of care

Built for both sides of care

Wobble only works if it works for everyone it touches. That means the NHS teams, local authorities and care providers who trust us to support the people they serve, and it means the individuals who open the app each week and do the exercises. We design for both. Services need something easy to roll out, safe, and showing real results. People need something achievable, motivating and genuinely theirs. When both are true, people keep going, and that is when strength and balance training actually changes lives.

“I’ve used Wobble in both MSK clinic and community falls services with excellent results. It’s clearly structured and supports people to build confidence and self-manage.”
